Monster One

So I'll probably end up making a few monsters by the time this project is done, which is cool with me.  Anyway, here's the first:

Starting a New Project

So one of my class is a hybrid illustration/3D modeling kind of deal.  The whole semester we will be working one "major" project and one "minor" of our choosing.  I think the combination of Lily loving Monster University and watching it every day led me to choose a monster for my major project.  As for the minor, it took me a while, but I thought maybe a cool egg (or a couple) with it's own small environment aspect.

So what does this all mean?  I'm taking one of each from sketch stage, to colored version, to 3D model.  I'm excited.  I've 3D modeled before but on a very basic level.  I'm excited to learn a bit more.
